THE YOUNG KNIVES

I can say that I've been diggin' these guys for a while now!

These geek rockers hijacked my iPod for more than 6 months, after I read a really overwhelming review from a Gaffa reporter (5 stars *****).

I would say that their sound is something between Franz Ferdinand and Blur. Beside the sound- and the drive in the music, it's impossible to ignore the hooklines!!! They are just so funny and charming that it's hard not to laugh: »I got dressed up, had a look in the mirror/ I wish I was thinner then everything would be fine, at least I smell nice«.

I bought their latest album "Superabundance" - and that has definitely been my favourite album of 2008.

Why I'm doing this...

Hey there!

This is suddenly my first blog ever... I've decided not do this annoying blog-thing to promote myself (or my friends), but simply to write about all the stuff I'm diggin' at the moment.

Yeah, it's just some casual blog writing about the records I buy - and maybe you'll get some extra gossip stuff to please your boring kinda life.

Have a good time.
